I started Ellie Sport in honour of my late grandmother Elinor Parker, known as Ellie, I always imagined naming a child after her as she was the perfect combination of regal and boujee hence the incorporation of Ellie Sport (Pty) Ltd.

I have always had a keen interest in golf and other sports and had suggested numerous times to my gran that we should go play a few holes at the Walmer Golf club in Port Elizabeth, where she resided at the time. Sadly, Ellie passed before I had the privilege of playing with her. I was left her golf clubs which sparked my love for golf and the attire that comes with it and I wanted to design something that everyone would feel good playing in.
